Call for abstracts

The Indigenous Research Support Team is hosting an Indigenous research conference January 27 & 28, 2022. Centered around weaving webs of connection and support for Indigenous researchers and research administrators, the intention of this conference is to develop cross-institutional relationships with other Indigenous research support initiatives across Canada.

Abstract submissions are open until Dec. 17 for presentations on the following topics:

  • Reconciliation and reciprocity in research
    • Decolonizing/Indigenizing research administration processes (eg. Research accounting, legal contracts, ethics review)
    • Cultural safety in research practice and administration
  • Indigenous considerations in Research Data Management
  • Relationship Building, Community Engagement, and Partnerships
  • Wise practices in knowledge translation/mobilization
