SSH Bookshelf Series

Publicizing research from the College of Social Sciences and Humanities through faculty-authored books.

Professor talking to class

If you're a faculty member in the College of Social Sciences and Humanities (i.e. Arts, Business, Education or Law) who has recently published a book, the Office of Research is available to help you explore knowledge mobilization options. There may be resources to coordinate a book presentation event where your work can be showcased, perhaps in conjunction with colleagues from other disciplines.

Holding a book presentation can elevate the reach of your work by offering:

Visibility and Recognition: Raise your profile within the university and academic community. Book presentations allow you to celebrate and share your scholarship.

Engagement and Dialogue: Discuss your book’s ideas with colleagues, students, and the public — sparking conversations and potential collaborations.

Networking: Connect with fellow researchers, potential collaborators, and others interested in your work.
